Art in Public Places Exhibitions
The James A. Rutherford Community Center participates in Art in Public Places, a public program whereby artists can exhibit works free of charge in a public space. We accept applications from individuals and groups inside or outside the City of Boca Raton limits. Artists may submit work in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, glass, jewelry, pottery and multimedia.
For exhibition consideration please contact Debbie Cerny, 561-367-7035.

Blake Patterson (April)
Largely self-taught, the artist began by making dowels on a lathe. When he moved on to making bowls he used the segmented wood-turning technique. He jokes that his favorite color is “wood!”. (561)451-9176
Barbara Rosenzweig (April)
"Photography is painting with Light - Life is Change and Change is Life. We live in an exciting and rapidly changing time period. In my travels, I seek to capture a part of history past and present. I sincerely hope that the images presented are appreciated for skill and will transform the observer into having a greater appreciation of photography and digital art."
